Getting there

Part of the magic of Zermatt is the journey of getting there.

❋ Because the village is car-free, all travel into Zermatt is done by rail from Täsch. Below are travel options for how to get to Täsch from nearby airports.
Zurich (ZRH)

By car: ~3.5 hours driving time. You will need to park your car in the garage at Täsch before taking the train into Zermatt.

By train: ~3 hours travel time. 1 transfer at Visp before heading to Täsch.

Geneva (GVA)

By car: ~3 hours driving time. You will need to park your car in the garage at Täsch before taking the train into Zermatt.

By train: 3.5–4 hours travel time. 1 transfer at Visp before heading to Täsch.

Milan (MXP)

By car: ~3 hours driving time. You will need to park your car in the garage at Täsch before taking the train into Zermatt.

By train: 3–4 hours travel time. At least 1 transfer, usually at Brig, before heading to Täsch. There are many ways to get from Milan to Täsch, so travel time and logistics vary.

❋ Once you get to Täsch, the train ride is ~30 min. In Zermatt, you can get around on foot, by bike, or by electric taxi. If you are staying in a hotel, you can likely ask them to send an electric taxi to pick you up from the train station.

Where to stay

Our wedding day will be at CERVO Mountain Resort, but the other events during the weekend will be all over Zermatt.

❋ Zermatt is very walkable, but it can be hilly and has some cobblestone walkways, so we recommend staying somewhere a bit closer to city centre or to CERVO.

If you would like to find others or a group to book accommodation together, let us know and we can help find you a roommate for the weekend!
